Wolfgang Puck, a surprise visit at the studio

Working on the ceramics for Spago Budapest has been an exciting project and this week it came with a wonderful surprise. Wolfgang Puck, the world-renowned chef behind Spago, dropped by my studio with his wife to see the pieces in progress and chat about what’s ahead.

It was a real pleasure showing them around the space where all the ideas take shape. We talked about the vibe of Spago Budapest, the dishes they’re creating, and how handmade ceramics can add that extra touch of character to the dining experience.

I walked them through the current designs: the raw forms, the experimental glazes, and some new directions I’m trying specifically with Spago in mind. They were curious, enthusiastic, and genuinely interested in the craft, which made the whole visit feel easy and inspiring.

We also kicked around ideas for future pieces, and I left the conversation full of energy and looking forward to what comes next.
